This year's event will feature a wide variety of satsuki-related content, including the "Satsuki Grand Exhibition" showcasing the finest satsuki trees from all over Japan, the third annual "Kanuma Satsuki Flower Contest for High School Students" (a mini-Koshien of flowers), and workshops that can be enjoyed by children and adults alike!
■SATSUKI exhibition opening up to the world
The exhibition features a rich international variety of Satsuki azaleas, including exhibits by Satsuki azalea enthusiasts from overseas.

■Mini Koshien of Flowers Kanuma Satsuki Flower Contest for High School Students

A flower contest themed around Satsuki and other flowers, aimed at students of high schools in Tochigi prefecture who are majoring in agriculture or have a tea ceremony and flower arrangement club.
The artwork will be displayed at the venue during the Satsuki Festival.

■Kanuma Industry and Tourism Product Exhibition
Introduction of Kanuma's local products, food and drink booths, etc.Present your "Satsuki Seedling Exchange Voucher" to receive azalea seedlings at the distribution venue.

■Free distribution of Satsuki seedlings
Exchange for receipts or other proof of purchases made on Saturday, May 23rd.
From 9:00 Quantity: 200 units
*We will be distributing azalea seedlings grown by students of Kanuma Minami High School.

■Satsuki consultation session by Kanuma Satsuki Association

Every day 10:00-12:00・13:00-15:00 
A Satsuki azalea expert will hold a consultation session on how to enjoy Satsuki azaleas, pruning, and seasonal care methods.

Announcement of Kanuma Satsuki Festival and City Flower Satsuki Painting Competition

In conjunction with the Kanuma Satsuki Festival, we will be holding our annual painting competition.
The purpose of this event is to promote the painting of pictures based on the Kanuma Satsuki Festival and the city flower, Satsuki, and to create opportunities for people to love Satsuki and take pride in their hometown.
